What forms of payment do you accept?
Prestine Records Storefront accepts all forms of major debit/credit cards, along with PayPal as payment options.

Can I place my order over the phone?
We are not set up to take phone orders at this time.

How do I cancel / update my order?
If you need to cancel or update an order, please contact us immediately at [email protected], and we will see what we can do. Updates are dependent on which stage of fulfillment the order is in. Orders generally ship within 1-2 business days after the date they were placed. Once an order is marked shipped, it is unable to be updated.

How safe is placing an order online?
Prestine Records Storefront is a secure website for order processing. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with 256-bit encryption technology certified by COMODO RSA Systems for the exchange of payment information. You can verify by checking out the little padlock icon in the corner of your browser. This means you can safely enter your entire credit card number when prompted by our online purchasing system, and it cannot be read in transit.

Believe it or not, ordering a product on-line is safer than ordering one in the real world. When you hand your credit card to the clerk at your local retail store, there is nothing to stop them from scribbling down your number and charging things without your knowledge. However, when you type in your credit card number to order on our storefront, we never even see your full payment information. The entire ordering process is completely automatic from start to finish, and only a series of computers handle your credit card information.

Hackers are not a threat either. Your credit card number and other personal data will be encrypted at the highest level of security. All your information will be scrambled and 100% guarded from prying eyes.

Why am I being charged sales tax?
Prestine Records, LLC. is a corporation that operates in the state of Florida, so all orders with billing address information from Florida will have sales tax included with the order.

How can I check my order status?
If you created an account during checkout, you can log into the Your Account at any time. Otherwise, you will receive email updates for each order status update.

Free Returns & Exchanges policy!

What is your returns & exchanges policy?
Prestine Storefront has policy of free returns & exchanges. If you are not 100% satisfied with your items, you may return your order to us for a full refund or exchange, free of charge. Our return / exchange policy is effective for up to 30 days of original purchase, and items must be unworn / unwashed, in the state you received them and in the original packaging. All music items must be unopened and in original packaging. *Our one exception is that all sales of digital content are final. If a physical album contains a digital download include, it too is unable to be returned.

We want you to have the best experience when shopping online with us, so if for whatever reason you’re not happy with your purchase, just complete a return / exchange request by contacting us here, and we will confirm the request, and issue you a return label to ship the item(s) back to us, free of charge.

What if I received incorrect or defective product with my order?
Duh! Obviously, if you received a wrong or defective item with your order, we will be sure to make it right. Please contact us at [email protected] , and we will issue a printable shipping label to return the wrong items back to us, and get you your correct order in full at no cost to you. While we strive for perfection, know that mistakes do happen on rare occasions, so we appreciate your patience when this happens.

Order declined / multiple charges on my account?

Why is my order being declined?
​Credit card charge attempts are normally declined due to a mismatch of billing information. If the billing information you entered does not match up exactly with the information on file with your card issuing bank, the transaction may be declined. Please double check the full name and full address on file with your card issuer, and make sure the same correct information is entered into the billing fields when placing an order.

If the billing information is correct, then please double check that the card number, expiration date and security code are all being entered correctly as well.

After making sure all information being submitted is correct, then we recommend contacting the issuing bank for your card, and inquiring with them what the issue may be.

My order attempt was declined, but why do I see multiple charges on my online statement?
When order attempts are made and then declined, this means no transactions were processed for the credit card, and no funds were processed for these transactions.

Certain banks and credit card companies place holds on user’s cards for order attempts, even if no actual transaction takes place. It appears your bank could be applying this method.

Transaction holds on credit cards usually pass within 24 – 48 hrs, but that depends on the policies of the issuing bank, and this process is entirely out of our hands. We do not have the ability to influence when how and when credit card holds are implemented, as that is solely up to the issuing banks.

If there is a hold enforced by your bank, it should clear here shortly. Any further questions regarding the hold process should be directed to your issuing bank.

Why do I have a charge from Prestine Records on my statement?
Charges on billing statements will appear from “Prestine Records, LLC.”, since we are the ones processing the transaction and order. Don’t remember what you purchased or what the charge on your statement is for? No problem, just contact us and we’ll gladly supply your order details.

Pre-Orders?

What is a pre-order?
Pre-orders are orders taken before the actual release date of a product, so that you, the awesome fan, can be sure to secure your order of the item before it’s official release.

My order contains a pre-order item, why hasn’t it shipped yet? 
Pre-orders usually ship a few days before the official release date of an item, but no earlier. If the official release has come, and you still have not received a shipment confirmation email, it may be due to the fact that we have not received the actual inventory for the item yet. We know that’s a bummer, but know that the moment we receive the inventory, we work fervently to get orders processed and shipped right away.

My order contains other items along with a pre-order item, why haven’t my other products shipped?
If your order contains both pre-order and non-preorder items, the entire order will ship in full when the pre-order item becomes available. We are unable to split shipments or ship other items separately. If you would like additional items shipped before the release date of a pre-order product, please place two separate orders for these items.

Digital Products FAQ
My order comes with a digital product, where is my download link?
Download links for digital products are delivered in their own separate email. When placing an order, you will receive an email for your order confirmation containing links for your download. If the email has not been received, please be sure to check your spam folder, as they may be caught in there. If for whatever reason these emails are not received after placing an order, contact us, and we’ll get these to you right away.
How are digital files delivered? 
Digital products are delivered in .zip archived file format. Please do not use a mobile device or tablet to access the download, since these devices do not typically have the capability to uncompress such a file. Most desktop computers come with programs that will easily read .zip files, we suggest opening these files on such a device. For Mac OS users, double clicking to uncompress .zip files is native. For PC users, you will need a program like Winzip, or similar programs, to uncompress this file.

In addition to the actual postage, Prestine Storefront also charges a nominal handling fee to cover other costs packaging and handling your order with care, and we are fans like you, so we keep these costs as low as possible.

Why hasn’t my package arrived yet?
Most international orders are received within two weeks or so, but sometimes a shipment can take much longer to arrive due to local customs, post office or international duties offices, all of which are out of our control once the package is en route to you. Please allow up to 8 weeks for your order to arrive. We’d recommend checking in with your local post office to see if the package is held up there for any reason as well. If there is still no progress with your order after this amount of time, please contact us and we will be happy to work out the steps for a reshipment. If your package is returned to us for any reason, we will notify you by email.

Why am I being charged duty or taxes when I received my order?
Regarding customs fees (DUTY & VAT taxes), we do all that we can to alleviate any potential taxes they may be billed by the destination country when shipping orders, but any international customs or duties fees that may potentially be levied on your parcel is a decision made by the specific local post office(s) at the destination country, and is a scenario that is beyond our control. In many cases, duty fees are not charged on shipments, but again, if they are, it is something we have no control over.

These fees are not included in the shipping price of your order. These fees are calculated at the locals post office(s) destination, and must be paid upon delivery. Depending on the country, different fees will apply.

Prestine Storefront is based in the USA. All orders are processed in US dollars.
